Ryzen 7 5700X RTX 3050 Budget Gaming PC Build Price in Nepal & Overview

This Alam Tech budget custom build is designed for first-time PC builders, students, and casual gamers who want a capable dedicated GPU gaming setup without exceeding Rs. 117,500.

Available at our Kathmandu showrooms for Rs. 117,500, it pairs the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X — 8 cores, 16 threads, Zen 3 architecture, 4.6GHz boost — with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB on the Gigabyte A520M Gaming WiFi board.

Three honest things to know before ordering: the Ryzen 7 5700X is an AM4 platform processor from 2022 — still a capable 8-core chip for gaming and everyday tasks, but not the current-generation AM5 platform. The A520M chipset does not support CPU or RAM overclocking, so this is a stock-speed build. And the RTX 3050 6GB is an entry-level last-generation GPU — excellent for 1080p gaming at medium to high settings in most popular titles, but buyers who want current-generation Blackwell architecture or higher 1440p performance should look at our Ryzen 7 7700 RTX 5060 build instead.

Build Specifications

Who This Build Is For

This build suits first-time PC builders, college students, and casual gamers who are transitioning from console or integrated graphics and want a real dedicated GPU experience without crossing Rs. 110,000.

The Ryzen 7 5700X delivers strong 8-core performance for gaming, streaming, and light video editing at this price point. The RTX 3050 6GB handles 1080p gaming at medium to high settings comfortably in most popular titles including Valorant, CS2, GTA V, and older AAA games.

However, this is not a future-proof platform — AM4 has reached end of life and will not support new Ryzen processors. Buyers who plan to upgrade their CPU in 2 to 3 years should consider the AM5-based Ryzen 7 7700 build instead, which offers a clear upgrade path to future AM5 processors.

Upgrade Options

The A520M chipset limits overclocking but the build still has practical upgrade headroom. The DDR4 RAM can be expanded to 32GB by adding a second matching stick if more multitasking capacity is needed later.

Storage can be expanded via additional M.2 or SATA slots on the board. The GPU can be upgraded to a higher-tier card as your budget allows, with the 750W PSU providing sufficient headroom for cards up to the RTX 4070 tier.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of the Ryzen 7 5700X RTX 3050 gaming PC build in Nepal?

This custom gaming PC build is priced at Rs. 108,500 at Alam Tech, Kathmandu, fully assembled with the RTX 3050 6GB GPU and all listed components included.

Is the RTX 3050 6GB good for 1080p gaming?

Yes for most popular titles at 1080p on medium to high settings. It handles esports titles like Valorant and CS2 very well, and manages older AAA games comfortably. For demanding current-gen titles at high settings, expect medium settings for smooth frame rates.

Is the Ryzen 7 5700X still worth buying in 2025?

Yes for a budget build at this price point. The 5700X is a Zen 3 8-core chip that remains capable for gaming and everyday tasks. However, it uses the older AM4 socket which has reached end of life, meaning no future CPU upgrade path exists beyond current AM4 processors.

Can the RAM be upgraded on this build?

Yes. The 16GB DDR4 RAM can be expanded to 32GB by adding a second matching stick via the available SO-DIMM slot on the A520M board.
